Thanks for this Dale! The Census Bureau also has batch Geocoding, up to 10,000 records at a time (https://www.census.gov/geo/maps-data/data/geocoder.html) but I like the Google API approach--I can visualize automating the ggmap R process as part of a daily routine to processs new members and address changes.
How do you plan to use the Geocoded data about your members?
Would you be open to sharing the code that uses ggmap package here on the community, so that others can benefit from it?
